Great Ideas For Bridal Shower Games

bridal shower game ideasBridal showers are fun celebrations that unite all the women closest to the bride and her future in-laws families. It’s a day of great food, good company, gifts and of course games. While you have to judge the type of crowd that will be attending to ensure that the games will be appropriate (a bunch of reserved older women may not like buying lingerie and hanging it on a clothesline!), these are some great games that are a lot of fun and will be sure to create some memories.

The Almost Newlyweds Game
This is a spin off of the old television show. What you do is have the groom come to a location and answer a bunch of questions while you film him. Then you have the bride guess what his answer was. You play the video to see if she was correct or not. If she gets the answer wrong she has to chew a piece of bubblegum. The more answers she gets wrong the bigger her bubblegum ball becomes and she must continue to chew it the entire time. Just be sure not to ask any questions that would be potentially embarrassing for the bride, it is not the time or place for such behavior.

underwear game idea Underwear Galore
Have every guest bring a pair of underwear in the bride’s size. Hang all the underwear from a clothesline and number each pair with a number on the clothespin. Have the bride look them all over and then select which pair she would wear in a variety of situations (you write a list of different places, times, etc.). Then have the guests select their answers for the same questions. The one who gets the most right as to what the bride would wear for each situation is the winner. It’s funny plus the bride gets a whole new underwear wardrobe.


Toilet Paper Dress
Break up into groups and design a wedding dress on a guest using toilet paper. Choose one person from each group to be the dress model. Then wrap all the toilet paper you want on that gal and make a wedding dress creation. Have the models walk the runway and vote for your favorite design or have the bride select which one she likes best.

Cut out a bunch of heart shaped papers and have guests write their piece of advice for the bride. Then have the bride read them all aloud and laugh as you try to guess who wrote what.

Bridal Bingo
Make bingo cards with items in the squares that one often receives as bridal shower gifts such as toaster, lingerie, cake knives and so on. The person who gets bingo first as the bride opens her gifts is the winner.
