Charging Valet Station
This charging valet is 16” W x 6” H x 11 3/4” D.  It comes with a 6-outlet power cord with on/off switch, and 6 small “hook and loop” fasteners to organize cords and cables of the electronic devices being charged.

Price
The price of the product is $59.99 plus tax.

The Good

This product, in my opinion, looks like a nicely finished piece of furniture.  It can be placed on a night stand or a dresser near a wall outlet, and its cherry wood color and wood construction add to its aesthetic appeal.

The charging valet has three pull-out drawers in front for storing items such as papers, electronic accessories, or mail.  On top and behind the drawers are four, flat, divided surfaces to put four devices that need to be charged.  Lifting up on those surfaces reveals a deep compartment holding the 6-outlet power cord.  Once the plugs are put into the power cord, they can be separated with the small hook and loop fasteners that are supplied.  The other ends are connected to the items needing to be charged, and each one can then be put on one of the divided surfaces.  The cords connected to the devices can be put through oblong cutout portions of the divided surfaces so the devices will rest flat on the surfaces.

The power strip’s cord can then be put through a hole in the back of the charging valet and can then be connected to a wall outlet.  Once the red switch on the power strip is toggled to the “on” position, the charging begins.  I found that neither the electronic devices I charged nor the supplied power strip got hot during the charging process, which could have been a cause for concern.

This product required no assembly.

The Bad

Simple thought it may be, nowhere in the small one-page instruction sheet was there mention to turn the red switch on the power strip to the “on” position, or for that matter turn it off when charging was competed.

Additional Information

Three long, deep divided pockets at the top of the product could be used to hold pens, envelopes, small booklets, or other items.

The package states this product is made expressly for Bed Bath & Beyond.
