Better Breakfast Choices For Meals On The Go

healthy breakfastEveryone says breakfast is the most important meal of the day yet many of us forget to eat anything at all most days because of our crazy schedules and lack of time to focus on taking care of ourselves. Skipping a meal is worse than eating some terrible but all those McDonalds breakfast meals won’t do much for your heart or overall health so instead try one of these options that you can eat on the go. Your body will thank you.


Carnation Instant Breakfast
It’s a simple, delicious and nutritious breakfast option. Basically it’s chocolate milk (or vanilla or strawberry if you like). You can buy the premixed cans which all you have to do is refrigerate and shake. Or you can purchase the mix in a large can or individual envelopes already measured for an individual serving. They taste great and are filled with over twenty nutrients and vitamins to get your started off the right way.

A good old granola bar is a great choice for a quick breakfast. They come in all sorts of flavors and are now made my most every major brand so your choices and options are endless. These are so portable you can throw them in your purse or stuff them in a pocket to eat later as a snack if you choose something else for breakfast. Beware of which ones you select though. Some are now filled with so much sugar and chocolate that they are nearly equivalent to the nutritional (or lack of nutrition) value of a candy bar.

It is ever so healthy and comes in such a wide variety of flavors you are sure to find at least one you enjoy. Plus now they even have drinkable yogurts that you can hold and drink just like a soda can. Talk about convenient, it doesn’t get any simpler that than.

The most simple way to have a bite to eat each morning while in a rush and on the go….grab a piece of fruit. There are a wide variety of fruits that you can just eat the way they are (just remember to rinse them off). Bananas, apples, pears, mangos and grapes are a great way to fill your belly with delicious food it will appreciated without slowing down your day. Make your stomach happy, take a piece of fruit with you when you walk out the door.
